This quadcopter drone unfolds in less than 3 seconds, reaches a speed of 55 km/h in sport mode, and withstands whatever you throw at it. This drone captures beautiful aerial photographs with ease and is relatively cheap at under $800. The DJI Spark is a relatively cheap drone and it takes beautiful aerial photographs with the touch of a button.

The DJI Spark costs a third of the Mavic at just under $400. This drone has an amazing camera for aerial photography. This high-performance camera, takes amazing images, with stabilized video, and  shake-free technology. The Spark also has intelligent flight modes, with smart, reliable, and incredibly intuitive quick shot videos.

It’s flight safety worry-free flight in the palm of your hand. It takes 2 hours to fully charge the remote, for up to 2.5 hours of operation. DJI Spark Hand Gesture Control – Whaaa!!!!

To control the Spark with hand gestures double click the power button on the rear of the aircraft. When the front lights turn green release the button and it will take off. Once your drone is in flight raise your hand flat to face the drone and hold it there until the lights go green again. Now you are ready to control this drone with hand gestures. Navigating the skies with your hands is exhilarating none the less. It is a little hard to explain exactly what controlling your drone by hand gestures means. So I have a DJI Tutorial video to help you visualize the experience.

Say Cheese

Getting the right shot is really important, and getting the right drone is just as. When buying the right drone, with the best high-res camera, you really need to ask yourself “How much am I willing to spend”? Drones have come along way and they are getting bigger and better with flight times lasting hours.

Sometimes spending a little more is so much worth it in the end. If you buy directly from DJI the price tag is significantly less. The links on this for the DJI products will take you directly to the DJI where you get these amazing deals.

One more thing to consider is the DJI Refresh packages…

What’s a refresh package you ask? A refresh package is insurance for your drone. If you are spending hundreds or even thousands. You will want to be sure that if you crash and wreck, your drone will be replaced no questions asked. It doesn’t matter if you crash into a tree or into the lake, your covered. Here is a link to The DJI Refresh Page for the Spark and you can find different model refresh packages once your there.. You can buy the refresh package on previously owned DJI drones too.

My 16 years old niece recently crashed hers during her camp trip. She has a lot of interest in photography and using drones was one she recently learnt about. I’ll share your article with her so she can have more insights on how to operate better..
I also camp often and i would like to introduce drone photography into my trips because I do see youtube videos on how amazing the photos can be! I think the Parrot Anafi can meet my expectations.

Many thanks for this helpful article.

Hello Trevor, I must say that this is very interesting. I enjoy photography and I have never done that with drones. I can’t imagine how great it is. I will get the cheap one for the first time just to see how it works and later I can upgrade. Thank you for sharing such an inspirational piece of text, it is worth the try.

Great article thank you. Thanks for helping clarify which photography drones are the best. There are so many out there so it helps to know which ones are the best.

Are these drones also good for taking video? I wonder that because I heard that they use drones to film movie these days so maybe people who want to film any videos would also benefit from having a drone.

For example I watch some Fitness channels on YouTube and a drone that could hover in the perfect spot to record someone doing a set would be really helpful. If a drone could follow me around during my workout and record all my sets that would be so cool. It would save me a lot of energy from what I want to record my workouts and I have to manually move the camera from here to there.

Also do they have a thing where you can have another monitor display the Drone footage as you are flying it? Because then people could actually watch themselves from behind when they are doing back workouts or shoulder workouts and stuff like that. That would probably help with mind to muscle connection.

Well thank you for this interesting article and I will probably be back again in the future to read more. Take care.
